Want to be an Entrepreneur?
“Who Wants to be an Entrepreneur” is a competition for business ideas, project or inventions. Whatever your passion art, music, internet, engineering, economics, fashion… your chance to turn it into a thriving career starts now.
The competition will be in two stages (teams of 2 are allowed).
- Submit 200 words explanation of your idea by email to 89entrepreneur@gmail.com by March 7, 2010.
- Five finalists will be picked to present their idea to a panel of judges including a Don, two students (including an MBA senior student), Dean Jo, and Paul Readings (General Manager of 89 Chestnut) on March 15th.
Prizes
- 1st prize: $150 + Support in acquiring funding from & launching business from Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF)
- 2nd prize: $50
- Green Team special prize: for project with best environmental theme
The biggest obstacle to realizing your dreams is never trying to. Have confidence that “Who Wants to be an Entrepreneur” might be your start for something big and we believe it will.
